Nickel package

Thumbs up: Defensive tackle Sam Adams. His penetration saved the game. He pushed back the Titans front and helped stymie Steve McNair's quarterback sneak.

Thumbs down: Punter Kyle Richardson. He couldn't handle an eye-level snap in the third quarter, leading to the Titans' first points of the game. With three blocked punts in his previous two meetings with Tennessee, he is probably happy that he won't have to face Tennessee twice a year anymore.

Stat of game: 10. Average margin of victory in points by the Ravens in their four-game winning streak over the Titans.

Quotable: "This is definitely No. 1. No, wait a minute, the playoff game with all the blocked field goals and things was No. 1. This one didn't mean as much. So this is 1B." Receiver Qadry Ismail on where this game ranks in the rivalry with the Titans.

Trainer's room: Running back Terry Allen fractured his left hand on his fumble with five minutes left in the first half. He did not return.
