New positions

WMAR-TV names Caputo national sales manager

WMAR-TV 2 hired Margaret M. Caputo as national sales manager for its news team. The Baltimore resident is a graduate of Newton College in Newton, Mass., and formerly worked with stations in St. Louis, Syracuse, N.Y., and with Katz Communications.

Cedar appoints Steiner VP for North America

Cedar Inc. appointed Evan Steiner as vice president, alliances, North America for the international enterprise software, consulting and services firm. He is charged with directing alliances strategy and creating and extending partner, client and brand value. Formerly with Nortel Networks, the Baltimore resident is a University of Maryland graduate.

Health care

Galloway assumes post of Stella Maris COO

Stella Maris named S. Rebecca Galloway chief operating officer of the long-term care and rehabilitation services facility in Dulaney Valley. Formerly with Catholic Charities as director of senior life services, she holds a master's degree from George Washington University. She is a member of the Baltimore Commission on Aging and Retirement Education.
