Falling: Ken Dorsey of Miami was held to 222 yards and no TDs and was intercepted four times.

Top performers

Ryan Fuqua ran for 393 yards and 3 TDs for Portland State, the second-best game in I-AA history. Jared Lorenzen threw for 453 yards and 6 TDs in Kentucky's 56-30 rout of Vanderbilt.

Upset of the week

Oregon State beat No. 8 Washington, 49-24, ending a 13-game losing streak to the Huskies.
