Carroll County public libraries and senior centers will be closed tomorrow. Public schools will be open.
County fee for bulk disposal of scrap tires to increase
Effective Dec. 1, Carroll County Government Landfill Operations will increase the bulk scrap tire disposal fee to $135 per ton.
Scrap tires will be accepted in bulk at Northern Landfill on Route 140 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
