Area schools and literacy programs seek volunteers to help children and adults improve reading skills, and to assist with related projects. Among them:
Lemmel Middle School, 2901 N. Dukeland St., Baltimore, needs reading tutors to work in its African museum, which features reading and cultural programs for boys and girls.
