Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man was standing at Park Heights and West Belvedere avenues in Pimlico about 11:25 p.m. yesterday when an unknown assailant shot him. The victim was taken to Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not known. A car thought to have been involved in the shooting was found about four blocks away, in the 5100 block of Elmer Ave., and was processed for evidence.

Southeastern District

Theft: All four tires and their lug nuts were removed from a 1999 Ford city police car parked at a city garage in the 200 block of Fallsway Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player, 10 compact discs, coins, eyeglasses and a cellular phone - all valued at nearly $400 - were stolen Wednesday from a 1998 Ford Taurus parked in the 1800 block of Fleet St.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Four five-gallon buckets of paint, a drill, saw and sticks of chalk - all valued at more than $400 - were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 6900 block of Marsue Drive.

Eastern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed Monument Street Carryout in the 3000 block of E. Monument St. of more than $100 about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Burglary: Cartons of cigarettes, a camera and a radio - all valued at $500 - were stolen Wednesday from Mini Market in the 2300 block of Greenmount Ave.

Southern District

Burglary: An electric guitar valued at $1,500 was stolen between Monday and Wednesday from a house in the 1500 block of Locust St. by someone who entered through a side window.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Bomb/arrests: Two 15-year-old boys were arrested Tuesday night shortly after detonating an "acid bomb" outside Krauszer's Food Store in the 300 block of Stemmers Run Road when an employee told them they were not allowed inside. Police said fumes from an acid in aluminum foil caused a glass bottle containing it to explode. No injury was reported. The boys were charged with possession of a destructive device and reckless endangerment, and were being held at the Charles H. Hickey School Jr. for juvenile offenders at Cub Hill.

Bank robbery: An apparently unarmed man entered First Union Bank in the 8800 block of Pulaski Highway about 11:25 a.m. Wednesday and ordered a teller to give him all the $100, $50 and $20 bills in her cash drawer. After the teller gave the man an undisclosed sum, he fled on foot.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Video games, their accessories and cash - all valued at more than $400 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Ridgelawn Road in Reisterstown.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Stereo equipment, a videocassette recorder, compact discs and video games were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2500 block of Cheshaire Drive by someone who entered through a window.
