Robbery: A woman, 20, was walking in the 2400 block of St. Paul St. about 11 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman robbed her of $15.

Northeastern District

Robbery try: A gunman attempted to rob Yong's Cleaners in the 1500 block of Homestead St. about 9 p.m. Tuesday, but fled when an employee ran to the back of the building.

Southeastern District

Theft: A 20-inch mountain bicycle was stolen Tuesday from the rear yard of a house in the 2400 block of McElderry St.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A laptop computer and briefcase were stolen Tuesday from a 1995 lnfiniti parked in the 1400 block of William St. by someone who broke a window to gain entry. The property, which had been left in full view on a rear seat, was valued at $1,500, police said.

Baltimore County

Theft from vehicle: A hammer drill valued at $525 was stolen overnight Monday from a Northwest Termite & Pest Co. truck parked on the firm's property in the 4200 block of Fullerton Ave. While police investigated the theft, another hammer drill and cash - all valued at more than $800 - were discovered missing from the company's office, which showed no sign of forced entry.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 8700 block of Blairwood Road on Tuesday and removed $800 from a purse.
