Candlelight Concerts' Performing Arts Series for Children will present "Shizumi Exploring the Arts of Japan," for ages 4 to 11, at 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday at Smith Theatre, Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia.
Shizumi explores the dance, theater, music and literature of Japan through the use of theater traditions, fans, masks, Haiku poetry and an ancient tea ceremony.
