`The Waverly Gallery' on view at Everyman

Everyman Theatre continues its season tonight with the Mid-Atlantic premiere of Kenneth Lonergan's The Waverly Gallery. Vivienne Shub plays Gladys Green, an elderly Greenwich Village gallery owner fighting senility in this play by the author of the screenplays of Analyze This and You Can Count on Me (which he also directed).

Spanning three generations of the Green family, The Waverly Gallery is narrated by Gladys' grandson, played by Josh Thelin. The cast also includes Paula Gruskiewicz, Bradley Thoennes and Stan Weiman, under the direction of Vincent M. Lancisi.

Show times at Everyman, 1727 N. Charles St., are 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, with matinees at 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, through Dec. 2. Tickets are $15-$25 (except tonight's opening, which is $30 and begins at 8 p.m.). Call 410-752-2208.
