Nancy Hubble, an associate broker and vice president of O'Conor, Piper & Flynn ERA, has been honored by the Maryland Association of Realtors with its President's Award.

Hubble was noted by the association for her 40 years in the real estate industry, her political activity and her volunteer work. The award is given to a Realtor who "gives of their time and talents [and who] are the heart and soul of our organization," said Adam D. Cockey Jr., departing MAR president and vice president of NRT Mid-Atlantic Ancillary Services.

Hubble has served as president of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, director of MAR and director of the National Association of Realtors. She was the MAR Realtor of the Year in 1995.

Her real estate pedigree began with her father-in-law who started L.L. Hubble & Co. in the 1920s. She opened her own Roland Park brokerage firm in the 1950s.

She and her daughter, Karen Hubble Bisbee, later joined with W.H.C. Wilson and Co., and in 1997, they moved to O'Conor, Piper & Flynn.
