Baltimore City
Northern District
Robbery try/arrest: Police were in the 2400 block of Greenmount Ave. about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when they saw a woman strike another in the face and try to rob her. A 37-year-old woman was charged with attempted robbery.
Southern District
Burglary: Video games and games accessories -- valued at more than $600 -- were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 3000 block of Cherryland Road.
Southwestern District
Robbery: A gunman robbed a woman of her purse containing $60, credit cards, keys and eyeglasses about 8 p.m. Wednesday as she was about to enter the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in the 1600 block of N. Ellamont St.
Southeastern District
Robbery: A 16-year-old boy was walking in the 100 block of N. Ellwood Ave. about 8 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman riding a bicycle stopped and robbed him of a cellular phone.
Baltimore County
Essex Precinct
Robbery: A man, 75, was walking toward his car in the 10500 block of Bird River Road about 10 p.m. Wednesday when he was knocked to the ground by another man and robbed of a wallet containing $300.
