Robbery: A man was repairing his 1990 Chevrolet Lumina on Liberty Road near Sedgemoor Road on Saturday afternoon when a gunman ordered him out of the vehicle and drove off. The car has tags JDT307.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrests: Two boys, ages 12 and 13, were arrested Saturday when they tried to steal two pairs of tennis shoes - valued at $170 from the J.C. Penney store in Eastpoint Mall. A store employee observed the boys removing the new shoes from boxes on a shelf, putting them on and then placing their own shoes in the boxes. The boys were released into their parents' custody.

Robberies: A gunman robbed two men of more than $300 in the 3900 block of Yolando Road about 11:30 am. Saturday.

Southern District

Robbery: A male. 18, was in the 1400 block of Jackson St. about 9 p.m. Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $250 and his gold-colored 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility vehicle with tags M584216.
