Home Depot to open new store tomorrow

The Home Depot will open its new store at 6 a.m. tomorrow in Westminster Market Place off Route 140.

The 116,000-square-foot store will employ about 140. During its grand opening ceremony from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., a donation will be made by Home Depot to Residents Attacking Drugs, a Carroll group that fights drug abuse.

B.J.'s Wholesale Club, also in Westminster Market Place, will open Saturday. Kohl's opened a department store at the same location Oct. 5, with an Eldersburg store on Route 32.
