Duke (0-6) at Maryland (6-0)

Site: Byrd Stadium, College Park

Time: 1 p.m.

TV/Radio: Ch. 9, Comcast SportsNet/WBAL (1090 AM)

Series: Maryland leads 26-18.

Last week: Duke lost to Wake Forest, 42-35. Maryland defeated Georgia Tech, 20-17 in overtime, on Oct. 11.

Maryland offense vs. Duke defense: Despite a sluggish effort against Georgia Tech, Maryland (4-0 in Atlantic Coast Conference) still averages 399.5 yards per game. It will face a Duke defense that allows 442 yards per game, despite the presence of Ryan Fowler, the ACC's second-leading tackler. Blue Devils opponents have enjoyed solid field position, with the average start coming at their own 37.

Maryland defense vs. Duke offense: The Terps would like to avoid their fourth-straight 100-yard day by an opposing receiver, but their first priority will be to contain all-around threat Chris Douglas, who averages 185.5 all-purpose yards per game. The Blue Devils (0-4 in ACC) rank 107th nationally with 14.7 points per game.

Special teams: Nick Novak seems to have turned a corner with his two field goals against Georgia Tech, but Vedad Siljkovic and Brooks Barnard need to keep the ball out of the hands of kick returner Douglas (22.3-yard average) and punt returner Ronnie Hamilton (20.3, ranked third nationally).
