Nickel package

Thumbs up: Return specialist Jermaine Lewis. He averaged 25.3 yards on three punt returns and had a 31-yard kickoff return, but the offense couldn't capitalize on the field position. This week, special teams cannot be blamed.

Thumbs down: Ravens defense. The record-setting group talked about the challenge of going against a great quarterback, then went out and folded. The front seven didn't apply consistent pressure and the secondary was slow in reacting to receivers.

Stat of game: 137.4 - Favre's close-to-perfect quarterback rating after throwing for 337 yards and three touchdowns against the league's No. 1 defense.

Quotable: "[Favre] made plays. They made plays. ... Those guys made some deep ball catches that were big in critical situations. It all boils down to they wanted it a little bit more than we wanted it today." - Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis.

Trainer's room: Quar- terback Elvis Grbac (concussion) left the game midway in the fourth quarter and is day-to-day. Defensive end Rob Burnett (fractured left hand) will get a cast and continue to play.
