Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeasten District

Robbery/shooting: A 16-year-old boy remained hospitalized yesterday after he was shot Saturday during a robbery in the 5500 block of Sinclair Lane. After turning over $40 to a gunman and an unarmed accomplice about 2 a.m., the victim was shot in the groin. Both men fled. The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $3,000 was stolen during the weekend from a house in the 3400 block of Ramona Ave. by someone who entered through a second-floor window.

Southeastern District

Shooting: A man, 24, was sitting on the steps of a house in the 2800 block of Pulaski Highway about 2 a.m. Saturday when he was shot in the left leg, behind the knee, by one of several young men who had walked past him moments earlier. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. No arrest was reported.

Stolen vehicle: A 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass with tags JVP 700 was stolen Saturday in the 600 block of N. Lakewood Ave.

Stolen car: A green 1994 Plymouth Talon with tags JSE 345 was stolen in the 100 block of S. Wolfe St. during the weekend.

Stolen car: A green four-door 1998 Dodge Neon with tags HTW 777 was stolen Saturday in the 3500 block of Bank St.

Southwestern District

Stabbing: Two men were arguing outside a diner in the 2800 block of Wilkens Ave. about 5:20 a.m. Saturday when one of them pulled a knife and stabbed the other in the torso. The knife-wielding man fled and the victim was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was in serious condition yesterday.

Stolen vehicle: A 1985 Pontiac with tags FEM 597 was stolen Saturday in the 600 block of Glenolden Ave.

Stolen car: Police were seeking a 1987 Buick with tags EKY 128 that was stolen during the weekend in the 4400 block of Pen Lucy Road.

Western District

Shooting: A man was walking in the first block of S. Carey St. and headed toward a carryout about 2 a.m. Friday when a gunman approached and shot him in the arm. Yesterday, the victim was in good condition at Bon Secours Hospital and no arrest had been made.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Murder try/arrest: Two men were walking toward their apartment in the 3600 block of Valley Terrace about 12:20 a.m. Saturday when a man with whom they had argued moments earlier fired at least three shots, hitting one of them twice in the legs and once in the back. The gunman drove away but was captured minutes later after police forced him to stop on the Beltway's inner loop near Greenspring Avenue. The victim, 39, was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Otis Alan Campbell, 26, of the 400 block of E. Belvedere Ave., was charged with two counts of attempted murder and related offenses, and was being held without bail at the county detention center. The gun was not recovered.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A Remington .308-caliber rifle and ammunition -- all valued at $1,725 -- were stolen Saturday from an apartment in the first block of Fitzgerald Court.

Robbery/stabbing: A male, 18, was at Glenside Road and Lamaze Drive about 12:15 a.m. Saturday when he was robbed of his jewelry by three unknown males. During the robbery, one of the males pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the right hand when he resisted. The victim was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital.
