Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Abduction try: Police were seeking two men who forced a man into the trunk of a car in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 4 p.m. Tuesday and drove off. The victim escaped when the car stopped two blocks away in the 900 block of Stoddard Court.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man was walking his dog in Patterson Park near the 2800 block of E. Baltimore St. about 9 p.m. Monday when a gunman robbed him of more than $500.

Eastern District

Shooting: An 18-year-old man was shot in the left chest by an unknown gunman about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. The victim, Gordon Foushee, was listed in fair condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $500 was stolen Tuesday from Perry Hall Christian School in the 3900 block of Schroeder Ave.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Welding equipment and tools were stolen between Sept. 28 and Monday from Ed-Mar Welding in the 10800 block of Veneer Lane.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Cameras, jewelry, cash and computer equipment were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of King James Circle.

For the record

Victim named: Linwood James, 38, was identified Monday as the man found shot to death Sept. 27 in his house in the 600 block of E. Chase St. No arrest had been made and police knew of no motive.
