Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Robbery: Two men armed with sticks assaulted a 20-year-old man in the 1100 block of Park Ave. about 7 p.m. Saturday and robbed him of more than $20.

Theft: Between Friday night and Saturday morning, someone entered the room of a Florida woman staying at Days Inn Inner Harbor and removed jewelry valued at more than $5,000 from a safe provided by the hotel. Police found no sign of forced entry.

Southeastern District

Shooting/arrest: A woman, 27, was talking to a man in the 6200 block of Erdman Ave. about 3:15 a.m. Friday when he pulled a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun and shot her in the upper left leg. A suspect was arrested nearby a few minutes later. Charged with first-degree assault and a handgun violation was Lamont Randall, 26, of the 1300 block of E. Eager St.

Rape: A woman, 41, was walking in the 400 block of S. Highland Ave. about 2 a.m. Saturday when a man armed with a handgun forced her into a nearby alley. There, the man struck the woman with the gun and raped her. The woman told police the man apologized before fleeing. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center. No arrest had been made.

Western District

Rape: A woman reported Saturday that she was in the 500 block of Kirby Lane about 8 p.m. Thursday when a man forced her into the rear yard of a house and raped her. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Eastern District

Robbery: A gunman in the 1100 block of Willinger Court robbed a man of his cellular phone Saturday night.

Southwestern District

Robbery: After a female motorist got out of her gold-colored 2000 Mitsubishi Galant in the 600 block of Wildwood Parkway about 10 p.m. Saturday, she was approached by a gunman who took her keys and stole the car. The car has tags JDP 530.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 23, was seated in her car on the parking lot of Bank of America in the 1800 block of York Road about noon Saturday after withdrawing money from an automated teller machine when a man hit her in the face and stole her ATM card.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 4000 block of Rustico Road and removed $200 from a jewelry box in the master bedroom Saturday.
