Tutors Needed

Area schools and literacy programs seek volunteers to help children and adults improve reading skills and to assist with related projects. Among them:

YMCA of Central Maryland will train reading tutors and homework assistants for after-school programs at six Baltimore County middle schools. The programs are offered from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at Lansdowne, Woodlawn, Old Court, Golden Ring and Middle River middle schools and Loch Raven Academy.
