County police said they were looking yesterday for a 26-year-old Severn man in connection with a fatal stabbing Wednesday in Glen Burnie.

Artemis Demond Booker of the 1800 block of Blue Jay Court was charged with first-degree murder, assault and possession of a deadly weapon in the stabbing death of Rodney Jerome White 3rd, 25, of Severna Park, police said.

Booker, also known as "Bird" and "Big Bird," was charged with assault in the stabbing of Robert Tabyron Jacobs, 22, of Annapolis, who survived the attack.

The two victims were stabbed early Wednesday during a fight outside a Shell gas station in the 100 block of Mountain Road. Police said crowds often gather there when the nearby Club Rumblefish nightclub closes.

White's relatives said he was involved in a dispute with the suspect, police said.

Witnesses identified Booker as the assailant from a photo lineup, police said.

White died late Wednesday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, and a warrant for Booker's arrest was issued yesterday, police said.

Anyone with information about Booker's whereabouts is asked to call detectives at 410-222-3460 or the anonymous tip line at 410- 923-4543.
