Agents, editors, authors to take part in book fair

Literary agents, book editors, authors and rare-book dealers will take part in the George Peabody Library Antiquarian Book Fair next weekend, giving advice to aspiring writers and book collectors.

The chair of the Johns Hopkins University's Writing Seminars program, Jean McGarry, will lead a discussion, "How I Wrote that Story," at noon Saturday. Hosts of the national radio program, "The Book Guys," will spend an hour Sunday giving free appraisals of old and unique books, starting at 11a.m.

The fair is being held in the Peabody library at 17 E. Mount Vernon Place in conjunction with the city's annual book festival. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public. Information: 410-516-8327.
