County to offer seminar on managing storm water

Consultants, developers and design professionals doing business in Anne Arundel County are invited to attend a one-day seminar to learn more about new storm-water management requirements.

The county's Office of Planning and Zoning will offer the seminar Monday and Wednesday at the Pascal Center at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold.

The classes have been organized to help professionals and residents understand the new requirements, which are a result of legislation adopted by the County Council this month.

Classes will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch. Lunch will not be provided.

The classes are free and open to the public.

Information: Merril E. Plait, chief engineer with the Office of Planning and Zoning, at 410-222- 7455.
