Pumpkin Theatre opens season at St. Timothy's

Pumpkin Theatre opens its 34th season Saturday with the Broadway comedy You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Best known for its productions aimed at children, Pumpkin Theatre takes a leap into producing a Broadway/adult musical comedy with the show, which features the main members of the "Peanuts" gang. Michael Himelfarb plays Charlie Brown, Kelli Danaker is Lucy, Richard W. Lloyd is Snoopy, Lauren Spencer-Harris is Sally, Jake Riggs is Linus and Steve Mitchell is Schroeder. Direction and choreography are by Todd Pearthree, with musical direction by Steven Zumbrun.

Show times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Hannah More Arts Center, St. Timothy's School for Girls, 8400 Greenspring Ave., Stevenson. Tickets are $10. Call 410-828-1814.
