Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Home invasion: Two men forced their way into a home in the 4300 block of Forge Road about 10:45 p.m. Monday and forced the 81-year-old female resident to sit in the living room with a chair cover over her head while they took $250 in cash and $3,000 in jewelry from a bedroom. Police were looking for two men between ages 30 and 40.

Burglary: Someone broke into a home in the 200 block of Choptank Ave. and stole a Smith & Wesson revolver valued at $300 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A fish finder, depth finder, radio and binoculars, all valued at $400, were reported stolen from a boat on a pier in the 2400 block of Holly Neck Road sometime between Aug. 25 and Monday.

Burglary: A Royal Farms Store in the 400 block of Bowleys Quarters Road was entered through the roof between 11 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday by someone who stole $200.

Burglaries: Break-ins were reported Monday at two apartments in the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive. A DVD player, stereo, compact discs and DVDs, clothes, a television and pillow cases, all valued at $1,800, were reported stolen in one incident between 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. A TV, videocassette recorder, stereo and jewelry valued at $2,350 were reported stolen in the second incident between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Phones, computers, cash, jewelry and electronic equipment valued at more than $22,000 were stolen from a building in the 11300 block of Marbrook Road between Saturday and Monday afternoon.

Towson Precinct

Theft attempt: A would-be thief fled when he was spotted trying to take a bicycle from the back yard of a home in the 1700 block of Pin Oak Road about noon Monday.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a home in the 100 block of Nettleton Court and took cash and jewelry Monday.

Baltimore City

Central District

Larceny from auto: A car stereo was stolen from an automobile parked in the first block of W. Biddle St. about 8:25 a.m. yesterday.

Northern District

Larceny: A construction worker's toolbox and tools, all valued at $300, were stolen from a vacant dwelling in the 2100 block of N. Howard St. between 11 a.m. and noon Monday.

Larceny from auto: A car stereo with a CD player, valued at $100, and 10 CDs were stolen from a 1995 Saturn parked in the first block of W. 22nd St. between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Monday.

Auto theft: A 1986 Toyota Camry was stolen from the 100 block of Radnor Ave. between 9:30 a.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday.
