While the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the High Zero festival of experimental music and movie theaters are open for business, several organizations have postponed or canceled events in light of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.

Here is a list of cancellations available at press time.

The Alternative Comic Book Festival, scheduled for today through Sunday, has been canceled. Call 703-242-9146.

Port Discovery's HiFlyer balloon was awaiting FAA clearance before it resumes operation. Call 410-727-8120.

Top of the World Observation Level at Baltimore's World Trade Center is closed through tomorrow.

Vagabonds Theater has canceled tonight's performance of Das Barbecu.

The 2001 Mencken Memorial Lecture by Hal Crowther at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Enoch Pratt's Central Library has been canceled.

The Improv comedy club in Washington will not feature comedian Wendy Leibman as planned because of transportation problems.

The Heart Walk is canceled.

The Oyster Festival at Fells Point Square has been canceled.

The Philharmonia of London concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Concert Hall, Kennedy Center, has been postponed. Call 202-785-WAPS.

The Dresden Korner Chamber Choir at Christ Lutheran Church 7:30 tonight has been canceled.

The Aerosmith performance tomorrow at Nissan Pavilion has been postponed. Tickets should be kept for later date.
