Clyfford Still exhibit highly recommended

There are only [a few] days left before the Clyfford Still exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum ends on Sept. 16. I urge all earthbound creatures to make the trip, if possible. (Especially Marylanders. Clyfford Still was our neighbor and probably the most important American artist who ever lived.) He did with paint what few even attempted. Without imagery or symbolism, he created large, almost living, works that record the journey of a free and soaring spirit.

A portion of that journey to freedom can be experienced by those who stand before his paintings. I recommend it.
