Seats are available for Three Mo' Tenors, the opening concert Sept. 21 of the Anne Arundel Community Concert Association's 50th anniversary season.

This tenor trio appeared on Great Performances on public television early last month during sweeps week, and it was through that show that many of us were introduced to these talented, versatile tenors.

Trio member Thomas Young is a classically trained lyric tenor who has been heard in concert with Zubin Mehta.

Tenor Rodrick Dixon has performed with the Lyric Opera in Chicago and in the hit Broadway show Ragtime.

Countertenor Victor Trent Cook was nominated for a Tony for his performance in Smokey Joe's Cafe.

Three Mo' Tenors will be staged at Chesapeake Center for the Creative Arts in Brooklyn Park.

Seats are available by subscription only to the entire series of 10 concerts, including five at Severna Park High School and four in South County at Southern High School in Harwood.

Individual subscriptions are $35 each, $45 for a one-parent family and $80 for a two-parent family. Individual student subscriptions are $10 each, less than $1 per concert including Three Mo' Tenors and a tremendous bargain, especially considering that ticket prices for Three Mo' Tenors in concert at Meyerhoff Hall on Jan. 22 will be $22 to $42.

In addition to the Tenors, AACCA's subscribers can enjoy classical violinist Linda Wang in November, the Baltimore Jazz Orchestra in December, Wood's Tea Company in January and the Arundel Vocal Arts Society in March. AACCA's 50th season concludes in April with the New Century Saxophone Quartet.

South County's concert season features the Pasadena Roof Orchestra next month, the Boston Brass ensemble in November, violinist Yoon Kwon and pianist Min Kwon in February and a tribute to Patsy Cline in April.

AACCA series subscriptions: Gail Gillespie, 410-647-4881, or Mary Benson, 410-647-6873.
