Night Time Diners

These common nocturnal birds can be found throughout the Australian mainland and Tasmania. Their feathers are the color of bark. This coloration helps them while they perch in trees looking for their dinner. This also helps them from becoming someone else's dinner during the daytime because they look like a branch.

Frogmouths eat nocturnal insects, spiders, and mice.
