The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Bellwart Way: 9000 block, Long Reach. Someone entered a residence between Friday and Sunday and took jewelry and silverware.

Dobbin Center Way: 6400 block, Owen Brown. Someone broke the front window of a business with a rock late Friday or early Saturday and took money.

West Columbia

Cedar Lane: 5700 block, Harper's Choice. Two teen-agers were assaulted and robbed by 10 to 15 male teen-agers as they were walking near Little Patuxent Parkway on Saturday.

Cradlerock Way: 7200 block, Owen Brown. Someone threw a brick through the front window of a business Sunday night and took money. A witness saw a man carrying a crowbar and wearing a green Army jacket with a hood and a black mask.

Freetown Road: 6400 block, Hickory Ridge. Police responded to an alarm at a business early Saturday. Money was missing from the business.

Twin Rivers Road: 10400 block, Wilde Lake. Someone stole money from a business Monday morning.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Old Waterloo Road: 6600 block, Ellicott City. Someone broke two windows of an office Saturday night or Sunday morning and took money.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Whiskey Bottom Road: 9100 block, North Laurel. Someone shattered the glass front door of a business Monday night and stole computer equipment.
