Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Escaper caught: A handcuffed inmate being returned to Central Booking and Intake Center after questioning by homicide detectives escaped from a city housing authority police car about 6:15 p.m. yesterday at Monument and Constitution streets. Andre Adams, 21, was caught minutes later - hiding under a car - two blocks away and was charged with escape.

Western District

Robberies/arrest: One man was arrested and at least one other was being sought in the robberies of three people early Sunday and Monday in Northwest Baltimore by men flashing badges and wearing T-shirts emblazoned with Bounty Hunter and Special Police. In one incident about 2 a.m. Sunday, two men were in the 4300 block of Pimlico Road when two robbers - one with a handgun and handcuffs - robbed them of $555. Two hours later, police stopped a car at Pennsylvania Avenue and Baker Street they said was used in at least one of the robberies and arrested its driver. Charges were pending.

Robbery/arrest: A woman was in the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 3 a.m. Monday when a gunman robbed her of an undisclosed sum before driving off in a 1980 Nissan. Moments later, police stopped the car on North Fulton Avenue and arrested its driver.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: An employee of Murry's Steaks in the 2300 block of E. Northern Parkway was about to make a deposit in a bank night drop on Cleanleigh Drive about 8 a.m. Monday when a gunman robbed her of an undisclosed sum.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the customer service desk at Giant Food in the 3600 block of Offutt Road of an undisclosed sum about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
