Nevins promotes Schmale, Durr to vice presidents

Nevins & Associates promoted Mitchell Schmale and Kristie Durr to vice presidents at the Hunt Valley-based public relations and marketing firm. They will oversee day-to-day operations including client needs, new business development and staff.

Schmale, a graduate of Washington & Lee University, formerly was a producer with CNN Headline News and WMAR-TV. He has been with the agency for nearly seven six years. Durr, a nine-year Nevins veteran, previously was with Gray Kirk/VanSant in Baltimore. She graduated from Randolph-Macon College.

Burman associate attorney with Adelberg, Rudow firm

Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler LLC hired Eli Burman as an associate attorney, focusing on business and corporate law. Burman previously was with another Baltimore law firm and before that was a staff attorney with the Federal Trade Commission. He holds a law degree from the University of Baltimore and a master's degree in law from Georgetown University.


Kloss joins McCrone as design engineer

McCrone Inc. hired Christopher J. Kloss as a design engineer for the Annapolis consulting engineering and planning firm. The Crofton resident has several professional certifications and received a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
