The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police reports. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

West Columbia

Hickory Ridge Road: 10800 block, Hickory Ridge. A blue-and-white Pontiac was reported stolen June 28.

Hyla Brook Road: 10000 block, Wilde Lake. Three teen-age males, one displaying a handgun, approached two people June 28 and asked them for money. The victims said they had no money, and the three teens walked away.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Baltimore National Pike: 9200 block, Ellicott City. Three men in their late teens to early 20s - two armed with handguns - and one unknown suspect took money from a safe at Wendy's after demanding that employees open it about 1:45 a.m. June 26.

Bethany Lane: 3000 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered a garage June 26 and stole two snow blowers and a leaf blower.

Bethany Lane: 3000 block, Ellicott City. Someone pried open a garage door between June 22 and 25 and stole an air compressor.

Bethany Lane: 3200 block, Ellicott City. Someone smashed the front glass door of Ellicott City Motorsports early June 29 and stole a motorbike.

Frederick Road: 14900 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered an unlocked trailer and kicked in an interior door to an office at Ferguson's Trucking on June 27 or 28. Money and documents were taken.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Liverly Lane: 9200 block, North Laurel. Three or four people approached a woman cleaning out her car just after 2 a.m. June 26, and a person armed with a gun struck her over the head. Nothing was taken.

Mission Road: 8500 block, Jessup. Two men demanded money from a man who was stopped in his car reading a map at 4:30 a.m. June 26. The two took cash and fled.

Western Howard

Woodstock Road: 1700 block. Someone entered through the rear sliding-glass door of a house about 11 a.m. June 25 and took an air compressor and power tools.
