Two Prince George's County men have been arrested and charged with murder in the death of a Greenbelt woman whose body was found on the grounds of the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in May, federal officials said yesterday.
Rufus Jerry Millegan Jr., 21, of Greenbelt was arrested Tuesday by FBI agents and the U.S. Park Police at the FBI office in Calverton.
Cornell W. McClure, 22, was arrested about 1 a.m. yesterday at his home in the 8100 block of Springfield Road in Glendale.
Both were charged in the death of Tessa Marie Osborne, a Prince George's Community College student who was found dead May 2 in Beltsville on the grounds of the federal research facility, the FBI said. She had been shot several times.
Osborne's family held a candlelight vigil for her Tuesday night at a recreation center in Greenbelt. She was a 2000 graduate of Northeast High School in Pasadena.
Millegan and McClure were being held yesterday at the Montgomery County Detention Center and are tentatively scheduled to appear this morning in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt.
