Woman and three children die in Germantown crash
GERMANTOWN - A Montgomery County woman and three children, ages 1, 8 and 10, were killed yesterday when the Honda Civic in which they were traveling struck a guardrail and was hit by a pickup truck, police said.
Laura Delgado, 29, of the 10600 block of Huntley Place in Silver Spring and the children were traveling north on Clopper Road near Waring Station Road when Delgado lost control of her car on the wet pavement, police said. The victims were related, but their relationship to one another was not known yesterday.
Delgado and Victor Manuel Delgado, 10, were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Andrea Delgado, 8, and Isabella Delgado, 1, were taken to Shady Grove Hospital, where they died.

Blocked line's waste spills into Stoney Creek tributary
PASADENA - More than 10,000 gallons of sewage spilled into a tributary of Stoney Creek Friday because of a blocked sewer line near Mayford Avenue and 210th Street, Anne Arundel County officials said yesterday.
The blockage was created when a private contractor pushed a large television cable into the side of an 8-inch sewer main, officials said. The line was cleared late Friday.

4 persons reported stabbed during fight in Lansdowne
LANSDOWNE -At least four people were stabbed during a fight last night, police reported.
Police were called to the 3200 block of Hammonds Ferry Road in Lansdowne about 9 p.m. after reports of a stabbing. The victims, whose names were not released, were taken to area hospitals.
One person was in custody last night, but police would not release the name of the suspect.
