"Valkyrie," by Sega. Since Sega decided to get out of the hardware business and become just a software manufacturer, it has opened up all sorts of creative outlets for them, not the least of which is the Xbox. This game is one of the company's first titles for the Microsoft console. It's being heavily hyped in the gaming world and features a Japanese animation graphic style called "Japanimation technique," making shading effects in the game more vibrant. The game revolves around scientists trying to harness new energy.

"Hawk Pro Skater 2X," by Activision. Another classic giving birth to a sequel, this skateboarding game is one of the most popular across many platforms. This time Activision is releasing it on the Xbox, with more stunts to pull and the ability to play head-to-head in online play.

"Jet Set Radio Future," by Sega. Being created new for Xbox, "JSRF" is an inline skating game set to jazzy music. Microsoft's Bill Gates has mentioned it as one of the flagship games for the Xbox launch.
