May 27, 2001|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

A 20-year-old Pocomoke man was arrested yesterday after he was accused of fatally shooting his wife and a 15-year-old boy. Police charged Nathaniel Jude Miller with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his estranged wife, Tonya Nicole Miller, 19, and the Hornetown, Va., teen.

According to police, Nathaniel Miller entered her home sometime after midnight. The couple argued over the presence of the teen in her bedroom. Minutes later, Miller shot the two with a 20-gauge shotgun, police said.

Tonya Miller died at the scene. The teen, whose identity Worcester County police withheld because he is a juvenile, died at a local trauma center. Nathaniel Miller was being held at Worcester County Detention Center.
