Crossroads Adventist School to open new 5-classroom facility

Crossroads Adventist School will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new five-classroom facility at 8:30 a.m. today at 3291 N. St. Johns Lane, Ellicott City.

The facility, which is attached to the Baltimore First Seventh-day Adventist Church, will accommodate about 75 to 80 pupils. The day school opened in August 1996 with eight pupils.

Groundbreaking Sunday for education building

Representatives from the religious and civic communities have been invited to a groundbreaking for Linden-Linthicum United Methodist Church's education building and gathering space in Clarksville. The ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

The church's Groundbreaking Day will begin with a worship service at 10 a.m., replacing the usual three services at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The congregation will celebrate its faith, its history as a religious community in Howard County and its future.
