Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Drug arrests: Officers posed as drug dealers Friday in the 600 and 700 blocks of N. Carey St. and arrested 23 people, seized 11 vehicles, cocaine and an undisclosed sum of cash. Three of the suspects were from Baltimore County. Most of those arrested were charged with attempting to possess cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute the drug and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Northern District

Arrest: A woman, 69, was arrested Sunday and charged with assaulting a boy, 8, robbing him of his scooter, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and first-degree assault. A boy, 12, went to the woman's home about 5:30 p.m. to retrieve the younger boy's scooter. The woman displayed a loaded .38 caliber handgun and allegedly said, "If you come any closer, I'll blow your brains out." Officers found the gun hidden in the house. Susan Duckworth of the 2400 block of Oswego Ave. was processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southern District

Burglary: Two cases of cigarettes valued at more than $2,000 were stolen Sunday from Triple C Wholesales in the 2800 block of W. Patapsco Ave.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular telephone and a compact disc player - all valued at more than $300 - were stolen Sunday from a 1994 Dodge van parked in the 600 block of Light St.

Theft from vehicle: An electronic organizer valued at $60 was stolen Sunday from a 2000 Ford pickup truck parked in the 400 block of S. Charles St.

Theft/arrest: A man, 42, was arrested Sunday when he attempted to leave the Giant food market in the 2100 block of W. Patapsco Ave. without paying for 24 packs of candy, valued more than $50.

Assault: Police were seeking a known man who cut another man, 23, in the left leg and upper left arm Sunday afternoon in a rowhouse in the 300 block of S. Stricker St. The victim was treated at the scene by a crew of a Fire Department ambulance.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A woman, 54, had parked her car in front of her home in the 3700 block of Glen Ave. about 11:10 p.m. Saturday and was walking toward the house when two men, one armed with a silver-colored handgun, accosted her and robbed her of a purse containing cash and property - all valued at more than $1,000.

Stolen car: A four-door 1991 Infiniti with tags EGZ 073 was stolen Sunday in the 5100 block of Pembridge Ave.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A woman, 43, was selling Mother's Day flowers in the 400 block of Kane St. about 2 p.m. Sunday when a man armed with a semiautomatic handgun robbed her of $200.

Burglary: An air conditioner and cash were stolen overnight Saturday from an apartment in the 400 block of Lehigh St.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A boy, 13, was walking across the parking lot of Rosedale Plaza in the 1700 block of Chesaco Ave. about 8 p.m. Saturday when he was stopped by two older males who asked if he wanted to buy marijuana. When he refused, he was knocked to the ground and robbed of $10. No arrests had been made.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Garden tools, a scooter, a skateboard and a gas can were stolen between May 6 and May 9 from a shed in the 1300 block of Glendale Road. The theft was reported Sunday.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: More than $300 and $250 in checks were stolen overnight Saturday from Postman Plus in the 9100 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville. No signs of forced entry were evident, and it appeared entry was gained with a key.

Stolen vehicle: A white 2-door 1979 BMW with partial tags JHD was stolen Sunday while parked at Liberty Road near Marriottsville Road. The keys were in the ignition when the vehicle was stolen.
