River Hill's Shannon Jackson saved one of her best performances for the last league game.

The senior no-hit ninth-ranked Howard (13-5) to lead the host Hawks to a 3-0 win over the Lions. Jackson (14-6), who also had an RBI single, struck out four and allowed three walks for the Hawks, which improved to 14-6.

Nicole Mele provided the bulk of the offense, going 2-for-2 and driving a two-run single to right in the third inning. Mele, a right fielder, preserved Jackson's no-hitter in the sixth when she threw out a runner at first.
