Lucille B. Tittsworth, 85, formerly of Catonsville

Lucille B. Tittsworth, a longtime Catonsville resident, died Thursday at her home in Stuart, Fla. She was 85 and had moved there five years ago.

Born in Catonsville, Lucille Hilton was a 1932 graduate of Catonsville High School, where she was honored as Exceptional High School Athlete and held a basketball scoring record for many years. She was a member of the Lioness Club of Catonsville and a Senior Box Office volunteer. She was married to Claude Tittsworth, who died.

Mrs. Tittsworth is survived by a son, Ray Bailey of Stuart; a sister, Doris Smith of Bel Air; and a brother, Charles Hilton of Bonita Springs, Fla.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace & White Funeral Home chapel in Stuart. The family suggested contributions to the American Cancer Society.
