Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Carjacking: A motorist, 22, was stopped in the 3600 block of Foster Ave. about 3 a.m. Saturday when a man forced him out of his green 1992 Infiniti Q40 and drove off. It has tags JDE 329.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder and three cartons of cigarettes were stolen Friday from a house in the 200 block of N. Curley St.

Burglary/arrest: Police responding to an alarm Saturday in a house in the 200 block of S. Chapel St. arrested a man who had broken in.

Southwestern District

Theft: A woman was seated at the bar of a tavern in the 2600 block of St. Benedict St. on Saturday when someone stole her cellular phone valued at $200.

Southern District

Theft: Police were seeking a known man who entered an apartment in the 2600 block of Spelman Road in Cherry Hill early Saturday and stole $80.

Burglary: A 26-inch bicycle valued at more than $100 was stolen Saturday from the yard of a house in the 400 block of Freeman St.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A man was breaking into a house in the 3900 block of E. Joppa Road about 12:30 p.m. Saturday through a rear basement door when the male occupant heard the noise and armed himself with a .32-caliber handgun. When the intruder was confronted by the armed occupant, he fled without taking property. The intruder escaped in a car occupied by another man.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Watches, necklaces and bracelets -- all valued at about $5,000 -- were stolen early Friday from Jay's Watch & Jewelry Repair, a kiosk at Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road.

Victims identified: Baltimore homicide detectives yesterday identified three men slain Saturday in apparently unrelated homicides. Arrests were made in one of the killings. Police said Anthony Woods, 18, of the 2000 block of N. Fulton Ave. died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the 700 block of Baker St. late in the afternoon. About 2:30 p.m., Ernest Woods, 37, of the 4400 block of Manorview Road was stabbed to death outside a gas station in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. Arrested and charged in Woods' death were Emmett Barkley, 36, of the 3700 block of Brice Run Road, Randallstown, and Michael Talieferro, 38, of the 2700 block of Cylburn Ave., Pimlico. Wayne Demines, 39, of the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave., was shot about 3 a.m. in the 1100 block of W. Baltimore St. and died later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
