May 07, 2001 appoints Tadkowski, named Kenneth Tadkowski as vice president of sales for the Baltimore Inner Harbor-based bar code and wireless communications equipment integrator. He supervises the firm's sales force, with emphasis on the mid-Atlantic region. The 15-year veteran of the bar code industry is a Towson University business graduate and was formerly with Datavision/Prologix.

Former AOL assistant, Masson joins MPT

Owings Mills-based Maryland Public Television hired Christine O. Masson as director of multicast and broadband services. She manages broadcasting traffic schedules and multicast operations, including MPT programming distribution via microwave, wireless, Internet and cable. Formerly an assistant program manager for America Online, the Germantown resident is a radio/television production graduate of Ohio University.


Bathurst, Allison hired by Infinity Promotions

Infinity Promotions Group, the sales and marketing division of Towson-based Viacom unit, Infinity Broadcasting Corp., announced the appointments of Johanna Bathurst as account manager and Tina Allison to event sales executive.

Bathurst, an Overlea resident, is a Towson University graduate and former account executive with Comcast Cable. Allison, also a graduate of Towson University, resides in White Hall and was previously with Adler Displays.

Lance, Yeakle take posts at Sandy Spring National

Olney-based Sandy Spring National Bank of Maryland hired Wendy M. Lance as a vice president and Jeffrey W. Yeakle as a wealth management consultant. Lance, who is with the Columbia office's business banking division, is responsible for portfolio management and new business development in the Howard County area.

Yeakle is responsible for providing financial planning services and coordinating asset management with tax and estate planning strategies for his clients. Yeakle also will provide incapacity planning for the senior community.

O'Hare, Schandlbauer, Edwards join Ober, Kaler

Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver announced that Patrick O'Hare, Nikolaus F. Schandlbauer and Mary Baker Edwards were admitted to the Baltimore-based regional law firm as stockholders.

O'Hare, formerly the head of health care transactions practice at McDermott Will & Emory. A member of the American Health Lawyers Association, he is assigned to the Washington office health law practice. He is a graduate of the Stanford University Law School. Schandlbauer, formerly with the firm of Jenkens & Gilchrist, received his legal education at the University of Virginia. He also is assigned to the Washington office in the creditors rights group. Edwards, a graduate of the University of Maryland Law School, is assigned to the Baltimore office in the estates and trust group. She was previously with the Towson law firm Blue & Edward.

Cummons is specialist at Hilb, Rogal & Hamilton

Hilb, Rogal & Hamilton Co. of Hunt Valley hired Barbara Cummons as an employee benefits specialist. The Phoenix resident received an M.B.A. from Nichols College and is a registered health underwriter and member of the Health Insurance Association of America.


Skiles and Miller join McCrone Inc.

McCrone Inc. hired Thomas F. Skiles as a project engineer and Joseph N. Miller as a landscape architect at the Annapolis-based engineering, land-planning and surveying firm.

Skiles, a graduate of Anne Arundel Community College, is responsible for the civil engineering design of land development projects. Miller, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Pennsylvania State University, is responsible for landscape architecture, geographic information systems and planning in the Anne Arundel County area. A resident of Randallstown, he is active with the American Society of Landscape Architects and the International Association for Landscape Ecology.

Marchetti and Korman advisers at Trammell

Trammell Crow Co., an international commercial real estate services company, named Karen Marchetti and Tom Korman to the staff of its Baltimore office as landlord/tenant advisers.

Marchetti, a member of Commercial Real Estate Women, is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and will focus on Baltimore City and Howard County. Korman, a University of Maryland, College Park graduate, will service industrial and flex tenants in the Baltimore-Washington corridor.
