C. Milton Wright clinched its fourth straight Harford County girls lacrosse championship last night with an 8-5 victory over host Fallston.

The Mustangs (9-2-2, 7-0 league) have not lost to a Harford County opponent since March 23, 1997. Since then, they have won 34 straight county games.

Both teams went into last night's contest unbeaten in county play, but the Mustangs pulled away from a 5-5 tie with three unanswered goals in the final 15 minutes. Kelley Duncan rolled the crease for two goals in the run, and Heather McHugh added another after slipping past her defender into the arc.

The Mustangs won most of the draws and got four goals from Duncan and two from McHugh.
