Mariners: Signed 1B-3B Ed Sprague.

Rangers: Placed OF Chad Curtis on 15-day DL with strained right hamstring. Purchased contract of OF Ruben Sierra from Triple-A Oklahoma. Designated P Darwin Cubillan for assignment.
