One dead, three hurt in I-95 crash

May 02, 2001

An elderly woman was killed last night when a car crashed into the rear of another on northbound Interstate 95 in Harford County.

Tfc. Eric Harbold of the state police said the driver of a 1993 Audi stopped or slowed down about 8 p.m. just south of the Route 24 exit and was struck from behind by a 1996 Eagle Talon.

Harbold said an unidentified woman in the Audi was killed and the driver, Allister McRae, 85, of West Chester, Pa., was airlifted to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Harbold said Benjamin Quinteros, 24, of Towson, the Eagle's driver, and an unidentified male passenger were taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
