Koffel Associates hires Mayl as fire protection engineer

Eric N. Mayl has been hired as a registered fire protection engineer in the Ellicott City office of Koffel Associates Inc., a fire protection engineering firm.

The company provides fire protection engineering surveys and system design, fire loss investigations, fire risk analysis including computer fire modeling, seminar development and building and fire code consulting.

Mayl has more than five years of fire protection engineering and 15 years of professional firefighting experience, and was a captain in the District of Columbia Fire Department.

Prudential Securities announces promotions

Jeremy Altman of Ellicott City has been promoted as associate vice president, James Payton of Columbia as first vice president and Jonathan Dickey of Bethesda as associate vice president at the Columbia Parkside branch of Prudential Securities.
