Burns, Brown lift Frostburg women by Villa Julie, 12-8

Darla Burns scored four goals and Heather Brown added three to lead visiting Frostburg State to a 12-8 victory over Villa Julie yesterday in women's college lacrosse.

The teams were tied at 5 at halftime, but the Bobcats (8-3) pulled away in the second half by outscoring the Mustangs 7-3.

Brown also had four assists for Frostburg State.

Heather Valunas led Villa Julie (4-10) with three goals, and Kim Gorsch and Holly Chattin added two goals each.
