College's open house to include appearance by Final Four team

COLLEGE PARK - An appearance by the men's basketball team that went to the Final Four is one of the attractions of Maryland Day, the University of Maryland, College Park's annual open house, which will be held tomorrow.

Up to 40,000 people are expected on the campus for a variety of activities, from concerts at the new Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center to an appearance by astronaut Paul Richards to discussions of weather forecasting and the Middle East.

The basketball team will be at Cole Field House at 1 p.m.
