Police seek man in fatal shooting

Police continued yesterday to seek a suspect and motive for the fatal shooting of a Cherry Hill man Monday night.

William Wilson, 25, had ordered food at Cherry Hill Carry Out in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road and was waiting outside about 9:10 p.m. when a man approached him, shot him several times in the upper body and fled, police said.

Wilson, of the nearby 600 block of Cheraton Road, died at 9:46 p.m. in the emergency room at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.
