Calvert Co. MVA office to close for upgrade

April 24, 2001

The state Motor Vehicle Administration will temporarily close its Prince Frederick, Calvert County, satellite branch from Saturday to May 6, to install new counters.

The counters will permit motorists to sit at work stations with customer service representatives to complete their driver's license transactions. In the interim, customers may use the Waldorf, Charles County, office at 11 Industrial Park. Its hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and May 5 from 8:30 to noon.

Customers also may use the Loveville Satellite Branch, Route 5 at Sunnyside Road in Loveville, St. Mary's County. Those hours will be extended to 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
